Women's Ministries
| American Baptist Women (ABW) now has 4 celebrations: |
| 1. February - love theme 2. March - Spring 3. May - all ages ladies tea 4. Christmas party, where we reveal our secret pals |
| In November, we have a bake and craft sale where 10% of the proceeds go to missions. This year we are funding replacing the steps on the parsonage. We pay for church nursery care for the year. |
| In January, we go to the rest home and have ice cream, cake, and juice, plus entertainment for all the patients in celebration for those with January birthdays. |
| Rachel Circle is also a part of us. These ladies roll bandages and send them to hospitals overseas, where they are sterilized and used. |
| In January, we started a learning craft time on the third Saturday of each month at the Crossing Point. This is a time for all age ladies to come and learn, share what they know, and just participate in a time of friendship. We have been tying quilts that go both to Russia and our own needy families in the area. We would like to see any in the neighborhood who would like to learn to come and join us. |
| ABW is also responsible for all showers, both wedding and baby, and serving at funerals and weddings when asked to do so. |
